can anyone tell me why the interior light in the ex plod motors doesnt work,and is there any way to make it work the way it should

I'd start at the light and pop it out to see if it's connected to any wires, if it is then give them a slight tug to check they are attached to something...

I guess the Police prefer to use brighter lights to help cut down on paper work errors, or perhaps your car had Police equipment fitted above head height which left a hole in the roof lining when removed.

Isn't so the Plod can be a little covert if the want to be ie they don't want the world to be lit up when they open doors. I'd start at the wires to the door switches (grey & grey/white IIRC  :-\)

bulbs are fine,roof has the plastic covers still in,but they're coming out along with the roof cloth so to replace,might be able to see something while am in there,if i get them to work,i'll post up what to do.
