just makesure you use crowfoot or split socket on the oil pipe unions - not open ended spanners as they can cause the unions to distort
Cheap enough from e-bay

No just go ahead and do it. Oil is dirt cheap in America.

Just do all your changes every 2500 miles.  :y

As the Master once said on here so long ago, the oil cooler also accepts heat from the coolant, allowing a faster warm up of the oil and engine generally. ...or words to that effect.

Presumably, the quicker the car warms up, the quicker it becomes economical and wears less... No?

Is this an easy fix project, or a need for further cooling ...?
