What would be the cause of fuel returning to the tank when engine not running?  :o

Seriously though, whats the problem/symptoms?

Lots of cranking cold with no starting? Have you checked vac leak off pipes?

Air getting in, check the leak off pipes. Other possibles are injector seals and fuel filter housing cracked

Park it facing nose down on a slope and see if it starts ok after a period of time, proves issues listed above  :y
