The screw that holds it in the wheel arch has ripped a small hole so now its flapping about , cant see how i can fix it , i was going to pop rivet it but see nothing to pop it to  Anyone repaired one

There's a plastic trim under the bumper that screws along the wing, sounds like that had broken, the good news is, it's easy to replace

Ill try and get a picture up tomorrow to show what i mean , difficult to explain in words . Just as well the curb was loose or it would have pulled the bumper off

The bottom section of my rear bumper was flapping downwards following me stupidly losing two of the pushplugs  .... nothing a couple of zip ties didn't cure.... cant remember if you have access round the side of the inner flap to get a cable tie in but if you can... job done

Pop the bumper off. You should see a plastic bracket on the wing between the wheel arch and the front of the wing. Replace this and reassemble

Does it matter that the liner has torn  The bracket you mention , is that the one that the rusty screw is fixed to in the picture ?

Yes, it does.
Had same problem on mine.
You can also see the one in the wheel arch lining above has gone also.

My solution was to put an additional screw in next to the rusty one at about a 45 degree angle. This has held firm on my without any further movement.

The bracket mentioned are easy to replace if you want to (as has already been suggested.) They are sided so make sure you get the correct side. I got mine from Omegaspareparts.

Whilst not ideal, the liner isn't a big problem as it clamps between the bumper and the bracket.

The bracket is visible in the pic between the bumper and the wing. It will be screwed/rivetted to the wing in 3 places iirc. The screw goes through the bumper and the liner, and into either a threaded clip which the old screw is probably rusted to, or it screws straight into the body of the bracket, but I can't remember which without looking.

Either way then ill have to try and get the old screw out , mite have to saw it off and drill it .
