Wim in Wiltshire?
« on: 21 February 2013, 15:13:57 »

Hi.Last December I asked about Inner tyre wear& read all the stuff on offer.Thanks.I,ve now had new front wishbone bushes,2x inner &2x outer track rod ends.on the back 2 donuts.2 swinging arm bushes & 2 new KYB gas shocks. The garage i used took the car to  a tyre place for setting up on an Optoline (4 wheel allignment) machine to set the tracking. The garage charged me £295 labour(i supplied the parts.Ithen asked if the camber & stuff had been done.He said theres no camber adjustment on an omega.i didn,t say i know better

Anyway now its time to visit Wim.I see they have franchise in Melksham Wilts &wondered if any of you good ol southern boys have any experience with them & do they do as good a jog as Chesham? Cheers.

that will be carson tyres on bowerhill then, they have all the toys there, all you have to do is persuade them to actually use them like wim do.(i went there about a year ago, they measured my setup, i went away and altered it with my trusty dunlop camber gauge, went back and they confirmed that i had got it right)having said that maybe wim has changed there mantra.

If you're looking to come this way, FCM motorsport in Bristol are on the WiM authorised list and did mine properly.
