Simply put, one ex had no hobbies & resented me Banger Racing. Another ex thought Banger racing was fun & got involved in the meets, painting the cars etc, so i got involved in her showjumping events, mucking out stables, feeding, tack room & i'm not a Horsey person. We parted on good terms without a single row & still speak years later.
The point is she had a hobby of her own so was understanding of mine.
