Arrh memories , i think they still have an owners club 

It was a car way ahead of it's time, a trend setter, brilliant idea.....   just not the best car to base it on, a Simca; rusts best friend......

I remember them. I have read many times that the brilliant idea was actually not. A vehicle looking like it was a 4WD but wasn't. It has been seen as a bad idea in some motoring press.

Talking of wierd French cars. I had a Matra Murena a few years back. The 3 seats thing is a strange concept - but handy at times. Just didn't have any power to match the sporty look.

Not familiar with the Murena but remember the Matra Bagheera had a 3 seat side by side, and iirc only in LHD...........

they were a death trap rob. mate of mine had one years ago . he stopped outside his house and it snapped in the middle . lucky as 30 mins before  he was driving down the m4 doing 80 .very lucky
