Not really... I had to buy the S80 (and it wasn't cheap) whereas I swapped my G Reg, LPG converted Range Rover for my first Omega :y

This is very tempting, I must admit I have a soft spot for this car. It's good looking without being brash over the top in your face like Jaguars, BMWs, Mercedes, etc its a Wolf in Sheeps clothing (like the Omega). A tinny Volvo engine produces more than any standard Omega  :( which is good  8) and the interior ain't too bad either pretty logically laid out although I'm not sure how the spec compares to an Omega Elite but I'd say the Omega wins here. Either way this is a worthy future replacement imo at least.

The S60 isn't as roomy as you would think... The S80 is closer to the Omega on that front ;)

The only trouble with both is that they're WWD :P

I thought id find a S80 to try after you said that... So I Drove a 2001 2.4 petrol (non turbo) automatic S80 with 110,000 on the clock a few days back it is a huge ugly car and feels (and is i think) much bigger than the Omega and drives like a boat completely characterless and the power is awful dredfull boring (kill me now sort of pedormance) and the sound it makes was dreadful and he wanted £2,300 for that pile of s___t, Makes me apreciaite my plucky 2.2 Omega much much more... The only good thing about the S80 it had comfy leather seats that's about it and it didn't even have heated seats.

hopefully the T5 S60 will be better if I can ever find one cheap and not miles away to test.

S60 R's are AWD, T5's go through tyres, they don't handle brilliantly but they're fantastic :y.
