Won't start

Help just been out to start car and it won't
Battery is brand new and cranks over really well just won't fire up the only code I can find is P1890 throttle position ?? I cleared this but still no joy
I have tried both keys just in case it's that but still no good
Any ideas anyone please

Almost cert crank sensor. I'm back in Aylesbury Sunday onwards if you need a hand anytime :y

Bugger looks like I will be after a crank sensor are they likely to have these in stock at dealers
I am not desperate to use the car as I have the Frontera luckily

I seem to remember reading that its not the sensor that fails but the wiring so I will have a look at this before I go ahead and buy a new one

Sorry, only it was that part number I put on my 2.6 CD a couple of months ago when it played up like, yours. Worth a try.

I couldn't find that  :-[  sensor on order it's not a stocked item won't get it until Wednesday morning
And to add insult to injury I have a puncture  ::)

New crank sensor fitted and started straight away  :y
Took tyre to have puncture repaired they found a 30/40mm long nail right in the center of the tread he reparied this put it back on the car and it went flat again took it off and checked and it has another hole right next to the repair so needs a new tyre I would mind but the tyres only done a few hundred miles as I havent been using the car  :'(
