Heater problems.
« on: 19 March 2013, 13:39:44 »

Just got a call from SWMBO, she drove to Aberdeen from Forfar last night to a concert, on the way there all was fine but in the snow on the way back she said the 'heating packed in' Only blowing cold air! Not very nice driving back in the snow having to switch on cold air to clear the screen then switch off again as it was bl00dy freezing.
So I'm thousands of miles away (again) in Singapore and haven't got a scooby.

Can somebody/anybody throw in some possible causes please.

Cheers

ive just had a problem with mine, turned out to be outside temp sensor, when i gave in it was displaying 70 degrees on dash, this in turn made heater blow cold as thought it red hot outside, once replaced it working great now, may not be the problem but a first port of call    hth   adey
