For £300 well worth a punt I'd say! 

Although on further thoughts the ABS ecu being knackered shouldn't prevent it from starting, so something else amiss.....

I had been looking at this too, and couldn't work out why it wouldn't start with the problems stated 
I would have to be able to drive it home to make it feasible. At that price it would have suited me perfectly, as there's some internal bits I would like as well.
