The Vectra GSi had the A and G combination for 197 BHP from a 2.5. BUT - this also has a unique control unit. No-one knows how much extra power if any the G cams give if used in isolation.

as usual for these - if you don't have an ECU that you can adjust, then you won't have any improvement.

personally, I'd go straight to the 3.2 - its already got 60 more horsepower.

...... and yes, my 5.7 Holden is very much more economical thas any of my Omegas.

Just in case anybody missed it. That's MORE economy FROM almost TWICE the capacity and power. ...and very similar weight.  :y

its not a particularly heavy car, tho. lighter for instance than a Golf

buying a 3.2 is a straight solution in UK.. but car prices different here.. besides even dropping another engine in requires too much paperwork (except mechanical) so shortest route for here is playing with the bore-stroke and crank..
