droped the friging Plenum FFS
« on: 14 April 2013, 15:05:57 »

re suspected head gasket gone thread

the good news  is found where coolant was pissing out off it was pissing out of the HVB to Coolant bridge pipe at the hoe clip at bridge end

the bad news is id been lazy and left Plenum on top of header tank and manged to drop know it off

looked fine when iv put back on iv noticed  its snapped of the aluminum where the big spring is for throttle cable

see pic here

dose anyone now of a bodge or if it possible to have it welded

or if ill need a second hand throttle body

could start it strait away bat was low and i guess it had to fill fuel rail where if had em off was starting before i took it off
on charge now

so not 100% head is ok but that where coolant was coming from pipe was perished on end and split buy hose clip

New throttle body off somebody who is breaking, would be the best fix.

Glad you got the coolant leak sorted
