Carlton autobox is AR25 on a 2.0.
AR35 on a 3.0.
At least on a '93 L reg.

Aye, a AR25 gearbox is needed.. Anyone got a good one up for sale in the area ?

Put a wanted ad in the section must be a AR25 kicking about,the amount that have been swapped for AR35

ah so you could use a 2.5 gearbox then---reckon one should bolt straight on-as 2.0 miggy uses same as 2.5

Or just use an AR35 if one is available at the right price.Its the same box with some internals beefed up.
