we ran a polling station yesterday,

for the amount of people who voted I recon we cost £12 a vote, I could have nipped round and collected more in an hour, never mind the 7am to 10pm we were there for,

the tellers are trying to see if all the people who said they would vote for their party have turned out, they collect old folk and bring them to vote, ;D

Voted by post a few days ago, only 2 choices though, so I voted for the right one....... :y :y

Not sure how anyone who does not vote can comment on our current situation, 'put up or shut up' is how I was brought up, in any situation....... :D :D

Always vote by post nowadays , so much easier but its a pity that quite a few today dont even bother but still moan about the current situation  ::) I think it should be law to make everyone vote  :)

My local elections UKIP and Labour both chickened out .. not a candidate put up by either party .. choices are Conservative or Lib Dems .. not even an independent to consider !!
Blimey, what a s--t choice. :-[

Compare and contrast with the recent General Election in Malaysia where there was an estimated 80% turnout!  ::)
