battery light on at tickover
« on: 14 May 2013, 17:05:43 »

Well another problem my battery light glows but only on idle it goes off as soon as revs are near 1000 voltage checks were 12.48 with engine off no load  12.17 engine idling 13.10 whilst held at 2000 revs and it was slowly climbing  alternator was replaced with a brand new one less than a year ago and battery around 2 years old car was fine this morning it started halfway home when i stopped at a junction  any thoughts welcome as im no good at electrics  thanks all

Assuming Battery is good and fully charged, check your connections and earthing, see if you've got any Voltage drops between Battery and Engine area.

Otherwise sounds like Alternator again.
