Can it be done?

Got a 70's grade garage which is coming down as we don't have anything that we can put in there and open the door to get out of (I think it was designed for an Anglia) and will be putting up a new metal shed. Problem I have is that the concrete is that cute 'ripple' finish and I wondered if it was feasible to smooth it down in any way which didn't involve pouring more concrete on it.

please please make sure the the roof is not asbestos befor you take the garage down if it is you will have to get someone in to do it

Much appreciated, from what he's said it would have been the end of life as we knew it had I just gone ahead myself. Mr Nosey Council man would have got involved and from there it is downhill all the way.

Are you sure its strong enough to drive on/ survive wet tyres etc?

Correct, big shed but leaving hard-standing rather than garage. Getting a frame sorted to use as an overhead gantry for winches etc. never seems to be quite enough room inside a garage so I though why not just work on sunny days? Yes I am a fair weather sort but since I'm not very competent and need assistance on most things I find a BBQ on offer makes things go so much easier and what point a BBQ on a bad day?

ive used leveling compound when i tile floors in shops, wickes is very good, buy a cheap paddle to mix it with in a drill, nice smooth creamy and pour it on
