roof rack

Does anyone know what the maximum width I can have on the roof ie what if any can the over hang be .Asking as I have bought a fish pond the fibreglass type and its 6 foot wide and 8 foot long approx. and I wont to collect it on the roof of the mig what do you think

100kg is the limit, including the bars.

The Omega bars are very close together though

100kg is the limit, including the bars.

The Omega bars are very close together though
not to worried about the weight but the pond will overhang the roof by approx. 18 inches each side so not sure if this legal or not, shouldn't be wider than the mirrors though.

Will you put a lid on it? ???  As I'm concerned for the poor goldfish....  :(  If you take a corner too hard they might fall out!!  :o  :'(

6ft wide is fine :y you're good upto 8ft :y

An 8x6 tank full of water might stretch the 100kg roof limit a bit far ;D certainly the goldfish will be quite a long way down the list of concerns ::)

Gollums are partial to goldfish so I heard and consider them a delicacy...  :-\

  wouldn't most of the fish be in school and the others could always go in the tank  ;D just hope it don't rain could end up weighing more than it was when it started
