Being having this problem for a few months now where the engine cuts out at roundabouts/junctions/etc when its warmed up and refuses to idle until you give it a minute or two to cool down just a little.

I'm also getting the EML light coming on at high revs (circa 6-7k) with code 74 MAF voltage high.  Not at all convinced this is related but I'm going to get another one to try.

I've already changed the IACV, replaced the crank sensor (with genuine GM one), cleaned breathers, switch cleaner on the plug.

Any other common causes?

Anyone still suspecting crank sensor...?  ( starter for 10 )

Could still be dodgy crank sensor (I had a duff one from Vx main dealer, worked ok at first then failed very quickly)

Could try disconnecting MAF (just pull leccy plug off) and see if any different.  If cures replace MAF.

Could posssibly be cam sensor (unusual on a V6, but had same symptoms on the 2.6, dealer replaced crank sensor, no change, then replaced cam sensor which cured problem, all under warranty)

Yeah, know what you mean about new crank sensor but I'd be surprised if 2 fail in exactly the same way.

Thanks for suggestions on MAF and cam sensor.  I'll check those out.

Surprised no-one has mentioned EGR valve to be honest, but just as well because it's been "disposed of" LOL.

The symptoms and codes point towards a dying crank sensor TBH.

Doubt it would be a EGR.

Of course, it could be the MAF - easy test is to unplug and see if symptoms remain (performance will be slightly reduced, as the ECU guesses at the engine load)
