Since BMW snatched the design from under our feet they have gone well over the top. 4 doors, 4wd , coupe , estate . Watch out for a monster truck one next. Still cant beat the old mini . Now the RCZ is a stonking design pity the engine wont last over 60,000 though.

seriously what were they thinking.

I personally think they did a good job when they brought out the ''new'' mini after years of not having one. to me it looked the same as the old one. yes I know it was bigger and that's mainly peoples gripe but to me I think of it as a modern car just based on the old one so I don't mind it got bigger. and they are lovely inside.

However what on earth are they doing with this P.O.S???????? Its soooooooooooo catastrophically ugly. the person who looked at that and said ''mmm, nice car'' either needs a guide dog. or shooting.

This is because they are incapable of original thought. ;) Take an "iconic" design and do it to death. ;D

You only have to look at the rest of the BMW range to see that, despite trying far too hard in the "styling" department, they haven't designed a car with a hint of character since the 1970's.

I always thought that the definition of 'Mini' was small or petite.

I saw one badged ' Countryman' the other week, and it was the size of a hippo .....but ten times as ugly. :-\ :-\ :-\

That's not fair---what's wrong with Hippo's-poor animal minding it's own business-and you insult it--by mentioning that german t**d AKA MINI-not shouting-that's bmw way of distinguishing their T**d from a real mini ;)
