Get the V12! It's an absolutely stonking engine - even in the XJ40 XJ12 I had it made the car a hoot to drive (luckily we didn't know how rotten the chassis was at that point! ) and at least as quick, if not quicker than, the Omega.. it'd be grand in an XJS especially with a manual cogswapper.
