managed to survive the White Rose centre, and bought a nice cheap pair of £30 glasses to use in the shed.
second pair on order for delivery next week.

bottle of rum on order - sent MrsEgg, cos I'm not risking it!

Feet up, bottle of peppermint next to me.
Zombieland ready to watch, then early night ready to start again on the f@!#ing van again tomorrow
Don't forget to post if it all goes horribly wrong  :)

Of course - I wouldn't want you to miss out on any amusement at my expense.

Hah ! you too..............Went my day badly.
I arrived back at a job I'm doing refurbishing a load of Gym machines . Painted one on tuesday and I leave the synthetic paint to cure for two days. Lifted part of the machine to find the paint soft, Mmmm?  Looked at the last batch delivered to find the idiot had sent me 2K and I had mixed as synthetic ie without hardner.  >:(
Tried to remove using a 9" grinder with twist knot brush , it snagged jumped out of my hand bounced off the ground and into my shin :o
Sat down to relieve the pain at the back of the van and broke my glasses too  :'(
Was advised to try a coat of 2K over the soft paint so mixed up a little but as my air fed mask was at home thought i'd try a little section with just an ordinary mask ...........migraine followed 10 minutes later  :(
Came home to find parts from Germany for my BMW had been taken back to depot because no one available to sign for . Driver could have called me on mobile which is on the address label but .......I then  wanted to remove a petrol tank from my E24 BMW to allow welding to start . 2 bolts holding it , first came off easily second rounded head ......By this time I had had enough shut everything down and walked away........

In the end, took just over 4 hours.
 :)

Hammered in Torx bit managed to get the caliper off, so didn't have to disconnect the brake hose  :)

Got the hub assembly on the bench, and welded a nut onto the rounded off bolt head DIDN'T burn myself  :)

Disks and pads fitted
Everything back together  :)

Nearly new tyre (Continental) from scrappy (maybe new -was a spare, and looks very clean and unworn). £20 !!! including wheel.

Now to make a start on the dayvan conversion

MrsEgg looked at me daft when I said I was carpeting the walls  ;D ;D ;D
