Motorway/Dual Carriageway run, normally only get about 27 out of it over the course of a tank.

High revs and heavy braking is what kills it

Oh forgot to add Instant mpg while climbing the hoseshoe pass was around 4 - 6 mpg going a reasonable speed engine temp got up to between 90-95c its one hell of a climb  :o
Sure your display is properly programmed - GM put a lower limit of 7.1mpg on the display so as not to scare people ;D

Yep my mistake must have been looking at something else  :-[

Tested it today sports mode and the kickdown switch floored it stopped at around 7. Something couldn't keep an eye on it at those speeds on the twisties ;D

Can't say I use the manual 1,2,3 gears... What's the performance difference by putting in second with sports then surely not faster than in Auto with sports on with kickdown switch floored  :-\ will just have to give it a go sometime then  :D
