sounds to me like air lock--remove petrol cap-take for drive-careful though-reckon its vent return is kinked/blocked

Hi guys well I done the petrol cap thing put another £20 in it went for a drive and covered 60 miles without a hicth, pulling really well best drive yet I feel.    fingers crossed it was either pump or crank lol took me nearly 2 weeks to get it to this stage    lol nearly finished the old girl will post some pics up of it now well tarted thanks again all for your input ,may take out the icv and give it another clean up ,may replace it lol just in case    owes me to much to sell it now   just done 1001658 hope for another engine still really tight  tx Ree.

lol yes its done hundread sixteen thousand took icv out Monday gave it another clean does look abit worn gonna replace it then its done prob due anyway not s sure if it was cap but running ok at mo.
trying to put new pics up but having trouble with drop box haven't used it for awhile may have to reinstall it, gonna try later should get em up soon it is a looker for old girl spent quite abit on it now need to respray rear bumper and quarter panel jobs a good en lol,loads new parts nice 235 45 17 on it, all new tyres hope she got another 100 thou in her take care all catch you soon Ree.
