Another years MOT on the Misses old Focus
« on: 02 July 2013, 11:07:18 »

I said last year, "If it passes its MOT I'll eat me hat" and it did. Just took it for its renewal and knock me down, its passed again!!! The exhaust was clinging on for dear life last year  :o :o :o I'm really surprised this time  ???

I suppose it gets me out of looking for a new car for her though, said if it didn't pass we'd look for a new one cause its about time, but the bloody thing keeps passing  :D ;D :D

I'd look at a Focus passing an MOT as a disappointment ;D. Bloody 'orrid things.

To be honest the misses has had 2 of em now, the first one white van man managed to write-off after T-boning it at a junction. He pulled straight out didn't look & sent the misses spinning into a ditch. It took a hell of a whack & stood up to the trannie very well. I was impressed actually how well it did.

Her second one we've had for 3 years and other than servicing, new discs & pads & throttle body clean I've not spent a penny on it. OK its no drivers car, quite bland and wouldn't be my first choice of car but its reliable, fairly safe place to be in and economical. The misses loves it and would only swap it for a newer one.  ::) ::) ::)
