Does anyone know how the twin horns connect?

I seem to have a wire which looks like it may have been the second horn, but with no connector.

Does anyone have a connector plug I can splice on?

You can run the live to the first horn, then connect its earth to the second, and earth that.
Or, split the live to run to both horns and earth each separately. This is 'better' as a fault with either horn will still leave the other working.

You do have a matched pair of horns, and not just two? A pair is a high and low tone, which makes for a much more useful sound than just two horns with the same tone.

The 2 horns go in parallel from the same feed.

The horns are negatively switched :y

Looking at that mess, I would suggest buying a pair of horns from a breaker, along with a couple of feet of loom, so that you can connect to the original loom away from that mess :-\

Just to add, the wiring diagram for the horns in Haynes applies to pre and post facelift :y

One of the horns on my car failed years ago, which was traced back to a wire that had been chaffed through by the flexi-conduit. It maybe that your car had similar problems in the past  :-\

Thank you all - I have a pair of horns (from oof) so think I'm just missing a way to connect the second one now. The one shown in the photos is what is on the car and not one of the pair. Currently it sound like a noddy car when I use the horn!

If anyone here has a section of loom that would be fantastic.
