it doesn't matter what oil you're using if you're doing regular oil changes. as long as its of SAE standard and of the correct grade for your car.
You'd like to think so, but sadly not always the case. OOFers know, for example, that some brands of oil cause far more mayo to appear in the filler necks and breathers on the V6 models, even on cars rarely used for short runs.

True but with most on here doing oil changes at 3-5k miles (half vx's specified recommendation) I wouldn't be concerned. just my opinion tho. :)

It's the breathers that are important though, as they pressurise the system when blocked.

Crap oil can give excess mayo=blocked breathers=pressurised crank case=leaking cam covers=oil in plug wells= miss fires and a wrecked ignition system.

The cam cover seals fail easily enough on their own without adding to the issue with crap oil. :)
