Is there a guide to removing the multi ram intake assembly? I need to make some room removing the radiator.

Mmm. It's on the v6 cambelt DVD, but not sure of an actual guide specifically for this part.
Disconnecting, etc is not difficult, but it is awkward to physically remove the assembly due to space restrictions.
How far have you got? Any point in adding suggestions here for you - would that help?

Just remove what you need to, just be carefull to get the right vac pipes back in the right place.

Two jubilees off the throttle, one gubilee off the air box.
Remove maf and multi ram electrical plugs
Pull a vac pipe off the vac tank elbow, and one off the join by the multi ram(different lengths so insures no confusion)
2 10mm nuts that hold the assembly in place
Lift "bag pipes" out past the coolant hose( you'll need to bend the coolant hose to allow the bracket out a bit, it does pass)

Just remove what you need to, just be carefull to get the right vac pipes back in the right place.

Two jubilees off the throttle, one gubilee off the air box.

2 10mm nuts that hold the assembly in place
Lift "bag pipes" out past the coolant hose( you'll need to bend the coolant hose to allow the bracket out a bit, it does pass)

As he says above. Only he forgot the intake air temp sensor, mounted on the 90 degree corner above the MAF. So 3 electrical connectors in total. And obviously the pipe from bagpipes to ICV not mentioned above.

The intake "bagpipes" can be fiddly the first time, it needs to lift to unlocate it from drivers side chassis rail, then juggle it over towards the passenger side. Can be awkward to get the mounting past the coolant pipe.

Apologies to the op. As I have the superior Dbw engine I haven't seen those omissions for a few years.

Some (mine incl) have 3 x 10mm nuts holding assembly
