I've just read that Wing Commander Ken Wallis has passed away.For those to whom the name is unfamiliar he was a pioneer and developer of the autogyro.His most famous creation was I think his Wa 116 design,better known as the gun and missile equipped "Little Nellie"of James Bond fame.Not only did he design and build it,he also "doubled" for Sean Connery and flew it personally in the Bond film.He had a decent innings though as he was 97.R.I.P.

Incredible man, I met him, and an acquaintance married his daughter. RIP Ken :'(

I saw him fly "little nellie"are a stunt show many years ago,he wasn't a young man then but he could chuck that thing around
RIP Ken :'(,not many left like him.
