Another one of Grandma's favourites. She'd be horrified to find out that Ken Barlow is a kiddy fiddler, as is (maybe) then mechanic married to blondie (these characters are a bit too new to me).

So did mine. For some reason she found Amy Turtle and Hughie (shooey ?) McFee hilarious. She used to talk most of the way through,so despite watching it for decades,didnt actualyl have much of a clue what was actually happening at any given time. ::) ;D

P.s. Meg Richardson later became Meg Mortimer,and we shouldn't omit to mention David Hunter........and,no I ought to stop now.  ;D
