Elite drivers seat not working
« on: 09 August 2013, 16:24:14 »

Had a quick search but couldnt find anything so looking for a pointer in the right direction.

Basically as the Elite has the fully electric seat  ive came across an issue. When I first bought the car the seat would go back and forward but not up or down. So had a quick check that the plugs were in properly then checked the fuse just incase it used more than one, it doesnt and its fine.
That same evening I found the seat miraculously started working as it should up down, back to front etc.

I then went to adjust the seat the next day and nope nothing, no up down back and forward. Again checked the fuse, looked fine, replaced it anyway, checked the fuse terminal etc. again everything seems  fine.

Anyone else came across this before? can the seat be manually wound back in anyway in order to be removed?

 Any help appreciated.

Sounds like dodgy/loose connections at the actual switch

Also make sure there are not any coins stuck down the side between the seat and the central arm rest area, a £1 coin can really get stuck and cause annoying problems for £1, and they are easy to fall out of a pocket and slide down,
