Anyone got a really good supplier of Brake unions
« on: 30 May 2008, 12:28:00 »

This is really getting desperate.

You would NOT believe the issues I have in identifying / obtaining the brake unions for the Jeep. The search has taken 10 days so far.

Jeep dealer " dont stock, cant/ wont order and even if they did they wouldnt supply them to the public" I have tried two dealers.

Every motor factor in the area are having trouble identifying them and cant supply ( withoug gambling and trying to sell me a box of 50 that may fit)

Ive fired off emails to a few online places and as yet - no great response.

Additionally ive joined two jeep forums and got no response - i think there all to busy ploughing up and down rocks and moving houses with big winches  ::)

So anyone know a really really good specialist stockist or reliable on line company ?

ps i should say my Father has questioned the Jeep dealer re the very real possibility they are selling vehicles they cant actually repair ( under warranty) and whether Dep Of Trade/Transport are aware (cant remember what one)

My parts bloke is excellent, I bet you a pint he will have them, and if not, can get them next day.

Send me the info and I'll give him a bell or take one in for him to see!
