Separate pumps I think. Worth sticking it in a bottle of water, see if its working?

Relay & fuse at front of relay box by battery

Expect a fail. If fitted they have to be working.  ;)

Well pump is removed and despite my best efforts to revive it ..it is dead  >:(

3 months getting this far to be thwarted by a simple electric pump...oh well test is booked tomorrow at my usual place so just have to hope they accept I will get it replaced asap and be kind and issue ticket as dont now have time to fix it or replace

Interestingly the MFL on the driveway with headlight washers has a different pump and the electric plug is also different so cant even swop them over

Is it easy to remove the jets? If they're not fitted, they can't be a fail. I think!

That went through my mind,John, however I also thought if HID,s were standard ,self levelling and washwrs was compulsory.

If I remove the jets ,even given test is at 9.15am,and really dont want to be pulling bits off first thing in the morning,I am just going to bite the bullet and put my hands in fate.

Should it fail I have another ,thanks to RobG ,s link,on its way, so will just rebook for Thursday afternoon for a retest as only 15 mins to replace...sods law it might have other issues

Replacement pump arrived this lunchtime in the post.

Simple 10 mins job to replace and all is good and headlights now get a hefty wash.Just need to do a bit of adjustment on the aim of the jets as seems to be like a water cannon going off...they certainly are "high pressure" compared to the older MFL style type.

Thanks for your help guys :y
