Prices for GM Red coolant and GM 10W 40 Oil ?
« on: 04 December 2013, 11:13:01 »

Hi,

Unfortunately I'm not a member of the trade club but does anybody know what the rough prices are for 5ltrs GM Red Coolant and 5ltrs
GM 10W 40 Oil ?

I've seen them on ebay but I'm guessing they may be cheaper at the dealers ? Or maybe not?  ;D  :-\

I'll ask SWMBO to put them on my christmas list  ;D

Cheers,

Paul  :y

It will be around £35 for the 2 retail mate.

I bought the same for £26 from vauxhall in stoke, being in the trade.

Last year my Vauxhall dealer charged £14 for five litres of GM red coolant, which I thought quite reasonable. :y

This year the mean-spirited bastard wanted £20.......so, instead, I purchased 5 litres of 5 year triple X red from Eurocarparts for £12 including delivery. ;D

Don't forget though Paul, if you're intending to change the oil in your V6, you will need more than 5 litres of engine oil  :y

I used some of that for a 500 miles flush before changing for some genuine stuff.

Yeah I always forget about the extra litre. Luckily I had one from when I had the astra.
