I have one of these devices - it works ok.

My contract with Voda is up shortly, so I'm thinking about what to do with the Suresignal as I'll probably go to a network that actually gives me a proper signal in the first place.

I'm assuming that I own the device - as I paid for it, so I guess I can then sell it once I have "de-registered" it to my location and Voda mobiles?

Are my assumptions correct?

Yes, if you paid an initial fee for it or was given for free and your contract is up with it (normally tied to one of your contract mobiles), then its yours to do what ever you wish. 

Quiet a few on the Bay now and then, although there not popular sellers.

...but why doyou need a "Suresignal" device with Vodafone?

Personally I have been with that company since the early days of car mobile phones, and in recent years I NEVER lose the Vodaphone signal wherever I go.

  It depends on where you live. In this house, the only phone signal we can get here, and it is only in two places in the house, is O2. I am on Voda, so use a sure signal. I am the only one who can get a signal from anywhere in or out of the house for a certain range.

Wot he says 

There is a poor signal outside (1 bar), but when you get indoors the signal often vanishes. That's the problem with living out in the countryside. You can register a number of phones on the device (I think it's 32), but only use 4 of them at any one time. Basically the SS is a "pico cell" in a box - which links back to Voda through the broadband/internet.

It's "ok", but drops out from time to time as well ........
