Further info on the replacement alternator.
Vauxhall lists part number R1530056 for the 3.2 Elite which comes with wrong terminals.
I understand from the posts that to get the correct terminals, an upgraded 140A is the one to get which carries part number R1530055 I am lead to believe?
Could anyone verify this number?

Reading the post by SMD, this is what I found when looking to replace my alternator.
Couldn't add to posts because it is locked.

Just to add, the alternator is easy to repair yourself with parts readily available (so worth considering).

Also, you can fit the alternative V6 alternators, the wires require a bit of forming but they do go on
