You two need to learn the simplest word in the English language .. and to mean it when you use it ...  :)

It's worked on my daughter (and her brother) for 30 plus years ....

"NO"

 ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;)

And why do I need to say 'No' She is a 'Character' but goes to school, walks the dog, does as she is asked, will do little jobs, will help me with heavy jobs, will help me take stuff the the tip, will empty the car of shopping, does not smoke, take drugs or drink (Yet)........remind me, why should I say 'No' to a reasonable request...... ;D ;D

Well it would seem from your OP that it is not a reasonable request as she seems to be destroying loads of them. I am pretty rough with my charger cables, yet have not had to replace one yet.

Perhaps you need to say no to teach her to be careful with things, which in turn cost money, which in turn might help with learning about the value of money?

I agree with Entwood, if my son breaks something then that's it, he doesn't get a replacement. And despite that, he is lovely and obedient.

No offence, but you are the OP and then contradicted yourself with the above quote!

Vamps does make rather a lot of posts about his girl - it has to be said .....

In my experience, the genuine ones last well. The aftermarket good ones last well, and the poor ones are shite. Trouble is with aftermarket, you can't tell if you're getting a good or bad one, cost bears not relation.

That said, I tend not to use mine when charging, for convenience. If you can't leave it alone for long enough at some point in thee day or night to charge, I think there are other issues that need to be addressed first.
