fuel tank air vent
« on: 13 February 2014, 19:32:32 »

Hello people.

I have a simple question regarding air ventilation within a fuel tank in 1994, 4 pot, saloon omega.

I have noticed, after driving for a short time, while opening fuel filler cap, an excessive amount of vapour coming out of filler. I can also hear it, as well.

How can it be fixed? Any thoughts, please?

It's probably just that the vapour purge system has reduced the pressure in the tank. I wouldn't worry about it, TBH.
