omega 1994 CD Headlamp questions
« on: 18 March 2012, 21:31:10 »

My headlights seem weak. I polished the lenses and they are now nice and clear, and I have tried Halfords and Bosch +90% brightness bulbs, but they are still pretty weak.

Can anyone recommend the best brightest bulbs to go in .

Thanks

Tom

Use "Osram Nighbreakers". Better option is to replace complete headlamps with later "projector" style

Nightbreakers are the better bulb but to be honest without projectors fitted you might not notice much difference. Should be able to source a 2nd hand set of MFL projectors for no more than £30-40

MFL=mini facelift. Yours is the "standard" Omega (pre-facelift) MFL came in mid `97 (side airbags, radio controls on steering wheel, solid headrests. Facelift (F/L came in late `99). New interior and slight bodypanel changes amongst other things.
Post a wanted ad in the "test" section asking for one of the mods to move it to relevant section
