Was a bout to suggest sitting on you, but thought better of it :P

Take it you lost the car in the Asda car park then ::)

Besides, better people than I invented the combustion engine so that I might drive everywhere... so far be it for me to disrespect their efforts by jogging ;D

Another double-edged, old man razor here :y No irritation, no spots, no ingrowing hairs, and a perfect shave of my oddly-shaped head.. :y

I got fed up with paying for Mach3 blades that only last for 3 shaves, and returned to a traditional double edged disposable last year. They also last for 3 shaves, but when you can buy 10 over the counter for £2(and much cheaper on-line if I could be bothered) the saving is worthwhile. Plus, at that price, I'm not tempted to stretch them out for a fourth shave which never ends well. Or cleanly.

I find the disposable ones clog up as the blades are too close together , then throw them away after one shave  :( Fusion dont clog up  :y

Agree. Disposables are a disaster.

Hmmm. Not all disposables are born equal

Blade sharpening is a real industrial skill. A good sharp blade means good shave, crap blade means lots of blood !

Look at the small print on the pack. Made in USA will probably be very good, made in India will not. Sometime it just says packaged in Czeck Republic but not where made.

So . .
Tesco own brand Made in USA  :y about £1 per 10
Tesco Value - made in India  >:(  stupidly cheap
Morrison own brand Made in USA  :y
Sainsburys own brand Made in ????   >:(

Sometimes even big name disposables can be crap

I refuse to pay silly money for fancy Mach IX Turbo Extreme wotsits.

You mean you really do only use them once ?  ;D    ;D

. . . . another question. All the above assumes shaving FACES, errrrrr did anyone here think it could be shaving LEGS ?   ;D

 . . . . I mean, you never know . . . .  ::)

I used to use the Mach3 blades - never did think they were that great and clog between every stroke (fnarr), so I gave up and just started using the same clippers I do my head with all over.. uniform stubble everywhere ;D

Recently decided to try the beardy thing, just use the clippers with a guard to keep it all a uniform(ish) length. Actually so far seems more gonadache than uniform stubble was as the guard tends to lay the hairs down so the clippers miss them.

Such trials we men have.. ;D

Lidl 3 blade system for me.  It's cheap and good!  :y

Ooops got that wrong!  :(  I use Lidl's G-Bellini Shark 5 blade shaving system! It's still cheap and good though!!  ;D  :y

Branded razors like Wilkingson Sword and Gillette are silly money to be honest.  ::)
