Two tourists driving through Wales. At Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch they stop for lunch and one tourist asks the waitress,
"Before we order, can you settle an argument for us? Would you please pronounce where we are..... very slowly."
The Blonde waitress leaned over and said "Burrr-gurrrr-kiiing."

The nearest Burger King is in Bangor... I know I did the food run sunday



Only 32 burger in there :)

Out with the people from work the other night and we where talking about "Top Gear" when my lovley Welsh, Blonde, SWMBO pipes up and says

"I just love richard hammond"

and another lass there says

"Some thing cute about short guys eh?"

Our Ffion replys

"Yeah I like short blokes"

So I say

"So that's why you went for me, Been 5ft 14" and all"

Ffion's reply

"I thought you where like 6ft 2" or some thing"

Wow, Bangor has a Burger King now!  It must be the epicurean centre piece of the North Wales coast!

Well its on the A55 "one Stop" service station, not the Town, Well City but thats only in name TBH...

They do have a KFC and a Costa though...

When I was student there 40 years ago, there were 3 Chinese Restaurants doing a "Businessman's Lunch" for 3/6 or it was a cheese and onion bap in the Glanrafon.

7 years ago when my daughter was a student there, there were a few more cafes serving not very impressive food, a reasonable Indian and quite a good Chinese.   Never been able to afford to eat at the British though.

The British Hotel is now a Student flat block !

Personaly in Bangor the best places to eat are "Noodle One" and The Greek Tavern.

Though the best food is over the water in Menai Bridge, The Taste of India and Jade Village

Unbelievable!  Last time we were there, it looked a bit run down, but I didn't know they were planning to demolish it entirely :)
