While waiting to get my new GM cam sensor!
« on: 03 April 2014, 02:00:31 »

Took my car to a local garage that I found who knows how to get the geometry set on omega's. They have done a really good job and the car feels immeasurably better after the front end was put back right  :y On the way home everything was fine until I came to the first long uphill stretch, I got about halfway up with no issue, then the car seemed to lose power and the EML lit up ... It's been on ever since  ::)
Is this common for a known bad cam position sensor to fail in this way eventually or should I look somewhere else (including having it read yet again)? I am going to have to wait until Monday to get the replacement GM part so I guess it's just a case of waiting without using the car again  ::)

This time is due to lack of funds though not Vx having to order parts in  :y I have also fitted a new cat and was wondering if this could be the cause (it's not noisy though)
