There is a truckers van at the Mottram end of the M67 called Big Baps. I can recommend the bacon sandwiches (baps) but the name is clearly derived from the person serving. Planning to visit again when Mrs not watching over.

Just been to Mottram again and tried to persuade my wife to go to Big Baps butty bar.

As we got near she said "I can see where the name came from" as she saw the girl serving.

Still no photo opportunity!

There used to be a café on Hedon Road in Hull opposite one of the dock entrances called Brenda's Baps for exactly the same reason  :y :y

Great to see any day but even better during the summer with the low counter and those strappy little tops she insisted on wearing   :-* :-* :-*

Loved the way she would lean forward and ask if you want anything on your sausage sandwich  :-* :D :D
