The Answer to TB's Breakdown Cover in France
« on: 13 May 2014, 07:24:02 »

I've got a mate who tows a caravan with a BMW 3 series around France for 6 weeks every year.

I asked him who he used for breakdown cover, he said he doesn't bother as he's owned BMW's for the last 20 years, and never had a breakdown in one.

Answer, TB needs a BMW!

A few years ago, I went to a non-start on an eight year old 316. On turning the key there was a sorry sounding click, and the lights dimmed. When he saw me coming back from the truck with a jump-pack, the owner informed me that "It can't be the battery, as this is a BMW."

Once I had proved that to be wrong, he insisted that he was going to complain to BMW!

This is one reason I can't watch reality TV; sometimes I actually meet the oppswits.

You be  very careful, playing with fire can be very dangerous and have long lasting consequences resulting in the loss of personal property such as bikes, tents and tools.

I'm trying to be grumpy, but I couldn't help but laugh over that one ;D

Mrs TB is asking why I just burst out laughing, I just replied "Mark's arsing around", and she never asked any more ;D
