Bye Bye Bessie
« on: 10 May 2014, 14:21:41 »

Bought for £2500 in 2005, gave 5 years/40k miles of good reliable service  :-*

Only annoyance was the gearbox 2-3 problem over the last 12 months  >:(

Now had/got a load of spares for Betsie  8)

RIP  :'( :'( :'(

The best figure I can find for Omega survival is about 18,000 remaining from the  200,000 made.

17,999 now. ;D ;D ;D

Would have had the front bumper.  :(

Was slighly "dinged" by an Asda post, and D/S scaped by a gate post. Also laquer peeling

Offered a few bits off it over it's years on the drive but never got anything taken. SWMBO is happy now though

There are better ones out there

More than you probably think it's worth, £125

You might haved washed it ::)

SWMBO asked me to do that in Jan so it would look better on the drive. Said I would when the weather improved (NOT)

I would have looked a right plonka washing a car with no headlights  ::) ;D ;D

Daft as it sounds, it helps protect it by clearing all the crud off the paint, also keeps the neighbours (a bit) happier ;)
