Can my pas pump be saved?
« on: 07 June 2014, 14:49:07 »

I removed it from its bracket without realising the internals actually live inside the bracket

See below pics. It looks very easy to put back together, the metal vanes go in the grooves, the ring goes around them, the cover goes on, and it goes back into the bracket. Nothing has actually broken, just these bits have come apart.

Only issue I can see is 4 of the vanes appear totally lost

Can I get them anywhere? Make some up carefully? :y

Interesting. Presumably the bits are floating around in the bottom of the system somewhere? Half worn and they can fall out completely, looking at that second last pic.

They are designed to be a loose fit (to act as an impellor). The large ring keeps them in place :y

They are lost because I have butter fingers and dropped the damn thing  :(
