Equally, if they charge more than £100 for parts, then you're better off fitting the Monaro bushes from Monkfish as they're £99+ postage :y

You're better off fitting them anyways, but that's a different conversation :y (the Monaro polys would also halve the labour rate as the tricky bit is digging the old bushes out, so don't discount them purely on parts cost... the total job price might be the same with a better result)

It wont be more than that al  ;) But of course a 12 month warranty should be included , before i leave i will ask them to save the old bushes for me to inspect  :y

If the bushes have failed enough for an mot man to notice, the car will have been steering from the back for some time, causing numerous corrections at the steering wheel.

Speed or how hard it's pushed will not be the issue.

If it's gone unnoticed by the driver, then likely the rear sensations are matched by the front giving a boat like feel to the car when driving in a straight line at 30mph. Failed rear bushes alone give an awful feeling of disconnection from the rear wheels. Unless the fronts are failed as well. Then if the driver accepts that's how the car is normally, it will go unnoticed for years until something falls off, or mot time.

None of that and thats why im suspecting they are trying it on  :( The old elite use to wander boat like so i know what you mean , having had this mv i noticed how sure footed and positive it was compared to the old boat elite . Lets see what if any change it has made IF they do actually change them  :-\
I doubt they are trying it on. Those bushes are over 15 years old and can be a pig to change. They'd pick an easy job if they where taking the pesh.

Mv6 boat is a whole world apart from Elite boat btw. Elite boat is still boat with everything new. ;D

I think that link is desperately inaccurate, possibly due to exactly how cars a re registered.  I know when I last looked at it, it said x for a specific car, and I personally knew of more than x
