Pay as you drive insurance
« on: 17 June 2008, 19:29:27 »

Heard on the news today that the big insurance companies are scrapping it due to poor take up. Oh, and the fact that manufacturers couldn't be arsed to fit the technology.

JonArgraig is the only person I know-of whom has it fitted.....he did post about 'savings' as against a fixed premium.

Vectra Elite Estate doing good post-Omega service but still not as nice to sit in.

One last Omega on the drive, one Corsa on the lawn...maybe they'll go to a good home before too long!

Depends on your age and other details matey.

JonArgraig has ended up with a good deal on his miggy as it's the cheapest I have heard of so far, but that could be based on his current useage as they have detailed proof of it, his bonus will be if he can keep it rolling on over the years.

If you have picked up on other threads a few uf us have multi car policies.

Mine for example.

47 Years of Age
9 years NCD on a 3.0 Elite = £232
0 Years NCD ona GLD 2.5 Omega - £250 (no discount to carry forward, but multi discount, payment up front etc made it worth having, inc 10% discount for a 2nd car)

The bargains are out there matey, it's just a case of finding them.

BTW, both are fully comp.
