Sorry that you feel that we are just advertising and offering no advice, there is no intention of that whatsoever. I spend most of my day either on forums or emails offering oil advice. Unfortunately, we deal with so many forums that I need to rely on notification emails from the forums so I can give advice where it's needed. It seems that I haven't received notifications as otherwise I would have replied.

Pretty obvious really. A non specific account any individual can sign into at Opie and spam away to hearts content.
Thing is, oilman USED to be exceptionally helpful. Certainly in the early days on here. But recently there has clearly been a shift in policy from Opie and input has become completely sales orientated.
Whoever is logging in to this account these days clearLy has no idea how a forum works. Members here aren't allowed to behave the way you are. There are guidelines in the newbie section to prevent this sort of advertising bombardment in that members are required to have 250 posts BEFORE selling is aloud anywhere on the forum.
The original oilman was aware of this and respected the rules, so was in a position to advise AND in the process put Opie forward in a position to supply on the back of that advise. Everyone happy.
However, recently, you've blown it. Coming across as uncaring and sales orientated isn't going to help company image. You need to put more effort in than that to convince this lot
Also what you don't realise is trade club oil is top quality and much cheaper than ANY of the deals your offering. Your just pishing people off.
I'd suggest sticking to a single thread, and posting In the correct section, at the very least. We are aware Opie are a useful resource, don't ruin what little reputation is left on here by fire and forget copy and paste.
