When's an Elite not an Elite?
« on: 09 July 2014, 19:08:49 »

Oh that'll be when it's an Ex-plod then.  ::)

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2003-Vauxhall-3-0-Elite-estate-/251582298402?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item3a93793922

Amazing how a car dealer could get prosecuted for mis-describing a car but an ebay seller can put what they like.

There were some early plods that had Elite stamped on the Log Book on the days of when they didn't know what to call them, Although most of the late ones were called Specials, having said that I did have a 03 Omega Special that come up on the Insurance data base as a Vectra with zero doors, a right pith to Insure.  ;D

Here's one for you, When's a CDX not a CDX?

Will look properly when I get home, but went like a scalded cat 8)

The chap who brought it from me about a year ago needed it to drag a Caravan back from Euroland, hence the recent clutch I suspect...
If anyone is interested in it, the seller should have all the Plod history for it... Job cards etc from original order to plod disposal.

Definitely a 3.2 manual, working self levelling and the wood trim was fitted by me.

This should help...

http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/index.php?topic=115443.0  :y

The wood trim was fitted by me along with a better centre consle (no holes) as a condition of sale...

From the ebay pics, it's had a couple of the minor scuffs touched in, including the offside rear wing...

Should make someone a nice run around :y
